FIXED: ViewSonic IFP7530 board flickering when using HDMI input

Issue / Fault definition
When using a ViewSonic IFP7530, the user reports similar to the following “When my laptop is connected to my board using the HDMI, the board flickers and cuts out. I have tried another cable and used a different port on the board and the problem persists.“
It is also highly recommended that you upgrade the firmware to the latest from the manufacturer’s website here – ViewSonic
Impact
The board is unusable intermittently
Known Fixes / Solutions
To resolve the issue change the HDMI version under Settings, Display, HDMI EDID to EDID 1.4 from EDID 2.0
