Slow Internet when accessing a remote network via VPN
- Right click on the Wireless Icon and click Network & Internet Setting
- Click Change adapter options
- Right click your VPN connection for your school and click Properties
- Click the Networking tab, click Internet protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) then click Properties
- Click Advanced
- Ensure both the Use default gateway on remote network and Disable class based route addition are both unticked. Once done Click Ok, Ok and Ok to get back to the main screen.
Following these steps will now force Internet access to route via your Home broadband and remote network access to go via the VPN connection
