FIXED: Reconnect Trend Worry Free Business Security to a new server
Issue / Fault definition
Having renamed or re-installed Trend Worry Free Busines Security, the Agent no longer updates and or connects to the old server.
Impact
The client will not update
Known Fixes / Solutions
Running the below will re-point the client to the new server.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\Security Agent\IPXfer_x64.exe -s $NewServerIP$ -p 8080 -sp 4343 -d $DomainName$ -e \$NewServerName$\ofcscan\Pccnt\Common\OfcNTCer.dat -pwd $UnlockPassword$
\\$NewServerName$\ofcscan\Admin\Utility\IpXfer\ipxfer_x64.exe -s $NewServerName$.$DomainName$ -m 1 -p 8059 -c 24998 -pwd $UnlockPassword$
Substitute $NewServerIP$ for the IP of your new server
Substitute $DomainName$ for your local domain name
Substitute $NewServerName$ for the hostname of the new server
Substitute $UnlockPassword$ for the unlock password for the previous install
The ports 8059 and 24998 can be got from the main console by clicking on the server name at the top right.
