You simply have to rename the parent folder and then rename it back. Voilá, the file is deleted.

For example:

The 0 byte file is located in D:\Folder\File.txt

So rename the Folder D:\Folder to D:\Folder2 and then back to D:\Folder

Look into D:\Folder and File.txt won’t be there.
